FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you board the dogs inside your home? No. This is the coach house, an outbuilding behind the main house. Once a garage, now a studio apartment with skylights, a bathroom, and a kitchen.

Do you have a yard? The yard is a secure double lot with plenty of sniff space, room for fetch, and areas to explore.

Does my dog have to be good with other dogs? Ideally yes. Can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Does my dog have to be good with kids? Ideally yes. Can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Do you have cameras? Yes. I can see and hear in real time through Google Home. Safety and Security are a top priority.

Do you have air conditioning? Of course we have heat and air conditioning. The Coach House is kept cool in the summer and toasty in the winter for all the pups.

Do you accept puppies under 6 months of age that are not yet spayed or neutered? Yes, on a case by case basis. Additional puppy charge may apply.

How many dogs do you board at once? We intentionally keep our capacity low with a maximum of 6 overnight guests to ensure every guest receives individualized care and attention.

Do you accept senior dogs? Yes, we accept senior dogs.

Does my dog need to be crate trained or kenneled? Yes, your dog should be comfortable being kenneled. They are kenneled overnight for safety and if I need to exit the coach house.

Will I receive updates? Yes ,photo and video updates will be sent so you can relax while you're away knowing your pup is not only safe but having fun.

Do you administer medication? Yes, I haveprior veterinary technician experience, and I am comfortable administering all medications.

Can we meet first? Of course. I would love that. I offer a complimentary 30-minute meet and greet for us all to come together and sense if we are the right fit.

Do I bring my own food or do you provide food? Both. Ideally, you will bring food from home, and we will keep the diet and meals as familiar as possible. I also have homemade treats and meal toppers available for pups through Coach House Canine Kitchen.

What else should I bring for overnight boarding? Food, a favorite toy, bed or blanket. We have everything else covered for an enjoyable experience for your pup!
